The album landed at position No. 48 on the Top New Artist Albums [Heatseekers] chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

Supreme Death/ Black Metal artists BELPHEGOR have released their new album last Friday, January 14th in Europe – and promptly made it into the charts! The brand new monolith, entitled "BLOOD MAGICK NECROMANCE " landed in Austria at position #39, in Germania #97.

“17 years of musick and chaos, and BELPHEGOR is still here to celebrate death/ black metal art. The title track is a seven minute opus, we worked eight months on this complex hymn. And arranged acribical everything in detail.
You will find everything here: spoken words, orchestrations, chants, choirs, grunts, acoustic guitars, doom parts which turn to ultra blastbeats.
The most difficult, varied track we’ve ever created. "BLOOD MAGICK NECROMANCE" is a very dangerous and magnificent song on the new BELPHEGOR album. It’s exactly how we wanted to sound in 2011.”

The clip was shot and edited this past October by director Alexander König in Abtenau, Austria. Keeping with the concept of the forthcoming "BLOOD MAGICK NECROMANCE", album the crew went through over 60 liters of fresh blood within two nights of shooting. Smashing all oppressive morals with anti-Christian sentiment, the band presents a raw look at depraved blood rites which celebrate the liberation of man through death.

As Serpenth previously stated: “The clip aims to strip down the viewer's psyche with an onslaught of sadistic sex, musick and magick. The ritual action caught on tape was also inspired in part by the world famous works of Viennese Actionists such as Hermann Nitsch and Gunter Brus. Rachael Kozak took over the role of the possessed Sukkubus.
As Pro-Domina she was perfect and totally into the role."

The album will be released on January 14th, 2011 in Europe and on February 8th, 2011 in North America!

Produced by legend Peter Tägtgren at his Abyss Studios in Pärlby, Sweden and mastered by Jonas Kjellgren.
The album will be released on January 14th in Europe and February 8th in North America via Nuclear Blast records.

Yesterday BELPHEGOR ended the last rehearsing for the upcoming studio album.
Serpenth comments: "Its BELPHEGOR to the bone, nine monumental - epic arrangements. The sound collages have a haunting - ritualistic atmosphere. Werk IX will be the longest playing BELPHEGOR album yet."

"Sunday we returned form the awesome Metal Gate Open Air we shredded in Czech, and went direct back in the rehearsal bunker. Fukking wicked!!! The last rehearsals turned out fantastic. We practiced day and night to get every level to the highest peak"....stated Helmuth.

On Friday bass player Serpenth and session drummer Marthyn fly over to Sweden and hit the Abyss studios to start the drum recordings on Sunday. Peter Tägtgren [Abyss Studios Sweden/ Ludvika ] will be at the helm as producer, the five recording sessions and mixing/ mastering process should be complete by beginning of October.
The yet untitled album's release date will be sometime in early 2011.
