Belphegor completing nearly a decade of existence (their first album "Last Supper" was released back in 1995) attack us one more time and dissect us mentally and physically!! Incredible black-death that "kills" anything Christian that may lie inside of us and absolutely demonizes us!!! Being LOYAL to their sound, far away from any gothic trend, they unchain their attack with fresh and revived ideas. Their technical skills are on a very high level and the guitar themes change from frozen and fast to melodic with many mid tempo and paranoic cuts. However, most of the album is very fast and speed prevails. The solos "scratch"and cut to pieces our brains and they are not tiring at all. the drummer is very stable and dynamic, like a war machine spreading disaster along with the help of the bass guitar. The death gutural vocals give their place quite many times to black growls. So, the black and death metal fans can buy this album with no hesitation and all of you make sure that you'll listen to Belphegor's new release! Cause even nowadays exist guys like these ones from Austria that stay true and honest to their musical and ideological beliefs.
