The most brutal, extreme and evil
band is back! You got it right motherfuckers! Belphegor just released
their brand new sick and twisted album! Their new assault of pure
blasphemy is called "Pestapokalypse VI" and it hits the
stores in a few days (from the date I am writing this review). Classic
metallers and melodic listeners cover your ears; it is time for Death
Metal to rise!
Belphegor are the most extreme act Austria has ever produced and
have up to now released various great albums. "Pestapokalypse
VI" to be more exact, is their sixth full-length album which
is going to be released via Nuclear Blast, which is Belphegor’s
new "home". Let’s hope that their new label is able
to make their name be heard and give them what they truly deserve...
So, "Pestapokalypse VI" is the antichristian anthem for
2006. Death/Black Metal at its best delivered to us by one of the
most extreme and "truest" (if this word exists) bands
out there! Belphegor are not afraid to show that extreme Metal does
not only lives, but it also rises again! Fast & furious, Belphegor
remain on the same style, Death Metal with many Black Metal melodies.
Furious drumming, incredible bass lines and extreme guitar shredding
combined with an awesome production that leaves you no choice but
fall on your knees and worship the new member of the elite of Death
Metal! Every single listener can witness the symphonic orchestration
of the guitars and the fucking heavy as hell rhythm section of this
album! There is not a single moment that this album ends up being
boring. The listener stays alert all along the duration of this
CD, facing fast and relentless Death Metal which many times turns
into a slow, "rotten" riffing! With this album, Belphegor
scream "FUCK YOU" loudly to all those who think that Death
Metal is nothing more than bands without talent, trying to be evil
and stuff. Death Metal IS the law!
Gather around me legions of the dark! I command you! Buy this CD
and praise Satan! Anyway, just buy this CD! Passing by it will be
a great mistake! The ritual is optional!
