Nekrologium Mag. (swe) "Best of the month" BELPHEGOR - Goatreich-Fleshcult (CD) death/black metal (Napalm Records/Sound Pollution) As 2003's "Lucifer Incestus" showed a lot of promise I had expected its follow up to be kind of good. I had not expected something as great as this though. Belphegor surprised me, and better yet, they impressed me. Songs like "The Crucifixus Anus Dei", the title track and "The Crown Massacre" are great new tracks that, together with the new, better version of "Swarm Of Rats" satisfies my need for speed. Then there are the slower, more powerful tracks, "Kings Shall Be Kings" and "Sepulture Of Hypocrisy", in which the hatred for christianity really shines through.
