Breaking the mould of what you would expect from Napalm Records, Belphegor plays insanely fast blackened death metal that sounds the like bastard son of Hate Eternal. The blasting and constant double bass is played with skin peeling intensity, and the melodic guitar work is utterly vicious, weaving pummelling layers of savage butchery. Add in the final layer of snarls and growls seemingly coming straight from hell and you are left with one of the most savage and unrelenting albums the death metal world has ever heard.
