High atop the mountainous borders between black and death metal sits Castle Belphegor. Once again, Satan's kings of blackened death metal has stridden down from those mighty peaks to unleash a blistering extreme metal assault. And here we come to the inescapable fact that ´Bondage Goat Zombie` is a hilarious combination of words. Hilarious that is, until you find yourself growling along to the chorus of the title-track whilst you carve pentagrams into your eyelids.

The usual tremolofuelled sandblasting riffs and drummer destroying blastbeats remain, but the sound has been further expanded. The chunky blast of ´Justine: Soaked In Blood` meets the effortless groove of ´Sexdictator Lucifer` (reminiscent of Carcass cut ´No Love Lost`) and even the more straightforward blasters like ´Stigma Diabolicum` are supported by a gloriously sombre melody. If you're not shredding for Sathan by the end of this album, hand in your bulletbelt and turn all your crosses the right way up.
